I'm a systems person. Give me a tangle of tools, data, and people that should work together but don't, and I'll find where the parts don't connect and rebuild it as one system that just runs.

I came to engineering sideways, and I think that's my edge. I spent nearly a decade as an EMT — learning to triage, prioritize, and act clearly under pressure — then worked as a data scientist and a financial advisor, earning my CFP® along the way. I learned the business of financial services from the inside, helping people navigate the most complex system most of them ever touch: their own money. When the software we relied on couldn't keep up, I learned to build it. The instinct turned out to be the same in every chapter: see the whole system, design how the pieces fit, sweat the outcome.

Now I'm the Business Systems Lead at Valeo Financial Advisors, where I own the platform the firm runs on and lead the team that builds it. I've shipped a production advisor platform, built the automation that wires together the systems a firm runs on, established engineering standards that live as code, and built something I'm especially proud of: an autonomous pipeline that takes a work ticket and drives AI coding agents all the way to a reviewed pull request — with humans in the loop exactly where judgment matters.

I build with AI agents deliberately, and I build the infrastructure that makes that work for a whole team — but I read what they produce and direct them with specific intent, rather than letting them drive. The AI is just how. What I actually do is design systems — at work, and for fun, where the same brain that architects a financial platform also builds a data-driven modding engine for a satirical card game and a fantasy-logistics economy on the weekend.
